Esther suggested storing the paper for the Ninja printer in the reference desk cabinet instead of the staff room. All the other supplies, like printer cartridges, are going to the staff room, but Esther suggested that she would make room on the bottom shelf of the reference cabinet for the printer paper. Michael and I agreed that this was a great idea. Any objections from the rest of you? Esther plans to finish moving the supplies out of room 207 tomorrow, June 16.

Since that's where they always end up anyway, we've moved the staplers, 3 hole punches, and scissors to the table next to the NINJa printer.

Could you all try to notice when desk consumables like golf pencils and paperclips are running low and replace them?

When you use the last, or maybe even second to last of something (e.g. a toner cartridge that it would be disastrous not to have a replacement for), please notify Anna.

This also goes for tape, golf pencils, reams of paper for the staff and reference printers, and many other things!

An exterminator came today in response to Amy's report of ants by the photocopier on the 2nd floor. A reader indicated that they are also in the area near room 207. The exterminator left some bait (presumably poison) and recommended we switch to alcohol or chlorine based cleaners, rather than using those composed of ammonia or vinegar. (The glass cleaner currently in the ref. desk is ammonia based.)
