Science Libraries update
From Jane Winland:
When a patron is searching a title in CLIO that is from one of the four closed Science Libraries, they will see a message that tells them that the library is closed and to use the Recall/Other Requests key. They should then go to the "Science Collections Paging Service" option and fill out the request form. We will be paging books from these libraries daily, Monday-Friday and material will be held for patrons in Engineering.

Science & Engineering libraries changes
"The Science & Engineering Libraries will undergo a number of changes this summer and over the next year. As of July 1, 2009, the Biology, Chemistry, Physics & Astronomy, and Psychology libraries will be closed. These closings anticipate the consolidation of the science division libraries in the Northwest Corner Building in 2010.
"Services in support of research and teaching will continue, and will be relocated to other campus libraries until the new facility opens in 2010. Books and journals from those collections will continue to be available by request through Columbia's catalog, CLIO. For more information about access to collections and services, click here. ""
