new location for the staplers
Since that's where they always end up anyway, we've moved the staplers, 3 hole punches, and scissors to the table next to the NINJa printer.

"indefinite" due date
I encountered a book in CLIO that was listed as due date "indefinite." I learned from Michael that that means the book is checked out to Interlibrary Loan. Now I know, and so do you!

7th annual Barnard Library - NY Public Library card sign up
Sean Belin and Dianne Sabater of the Morningside Heights branch of NYPL signed up 159 new card holders from the Barnard College and Columbia University communities on September 30th, from 11-2. This was the seventh collaboration between the college and the neighborhood branch, which was held in observance of National Library Card Sign-up month. Returning participant, librarian Sabater, seated at right, deftly fields a student's question.
