201 Scheduling
There is an online calender (called EMS for Event Management Systems) . It contains all classes as well as all events officially scheduled through Room Scheduling.
After the Registrar is finished assigning classroom space, Carol can schedule Room 201 for other events. Events scheduled by Carol will also appear on the EMS.

51% Minority
from Michael:
We have received a new title called The 51% minority, which is (duh!) about the status of women. Unfortunately, CLIO does not recognize the percent sign. A search using 51% produces the user-friendly message "Your search failed." The title can be retrieved either by a title search "51 minority" or by spelling out Fifty-one percent.

reference desk schedule relocated
As discussed as this morning's full-time librarians staff meeting, the reference desk schedule will hereafter live in a hanging folder in the drawer at the reference desk. It is there now, filed alphabetically under the name, "Ref Desk Sched."
Please make changes to the calendar, and if you possibly can remember to do so, also notify me, so I can put them on the electronic version stored in whatever is the current folder here H:\Reference\schedules.
