CUIT has a list of printers from which people accessing the BC/CU network via a laptop can choose. The NINJa printer on the 2nd floor is bclibrary200a. Presumably the one on the 1st floor is bclibrary100a.I had no idea this existed! Printing from a laptop should be easy once the user has the proper driver installed.

Esther suggested storing the paper for the Ninja printer in the reference desk cabinet instead of the staff room. All the other supplies, like printer cartridges, are going to the staff room, but Esther suggested that she would make room on the bottom shelf of the reference cabinet for the printer paper. Every so often (once that I know of in the seven years I've been here) the door to the 3rd floor stairs gets locked by security. The key is in the reference desk drawer--it's #15. Incidentally, that key also opens the staff room, which gets locked more often.

I created a folder on the reference desktop called maintenance. In it are CCleaner and Malwarebytes, both of which should be run every so often. CCleaner cleans up the C drive, and Malwarebytes checks for web nasties that LiveUpdate might have missed.

I spoke with ILL who told me:BorrowDirect: loan period is 6 weeks, however items may not be renewed.ILL: load period 4 weeks, and items may be renewed multiple times.
